Dixie Primary Care is a private practice specializing in Internal Medicine as well as general primary care in St George, Utah.
We provide our patients with the most caring and compassionate health care in the industry. We take a holistic approach when treating our patients. We blend both western and eastern style medicines. Our belief is that medicine, should be an integrative approach to disease prevention and treatment. Through exercise, proper nutrition / healthy diet, and stress control. We also recognize that the current practice of medicine involves a lot of testing and prescription medications. Therefore, we encourage all our patients to be proactive in taking care of their general health at home. Through developing a genuine desire to stay well. Our goal is to support them by minimizing medications and using our clinical acumen in doing appropriate tests. Our clinic is equipped to do on the spot testing for specific tests.

Grace Paradela, M.D.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Dr. Grace Paradela completed her medical studies in the Philippines. She graduated magna cum laude in BS Medical Technology. She has a pre-med degree as a four-year scholar at Cebu Institute of Medicine. Dr. Paradela interned at the Philippine General Hospital, which happens to be the largest Tertiary referral hospital in the country. During this time, there were days that she would see over 1,000 patients in a day. In addition, Dr. Paradela has worked in multiple rural areas of the country, working with pediatrics, minor surgery, family practice, and Obstetrics and gynecology. After fulfilling her residency in Internal Medicine in Atlantic City Medical Center, in New Jersey, she moved to St. George in 2002. She started her own practice here in St. George, UT. She has been practicing acupuncture since 2006. She greatly values the integration of both western and eastern disciplines. Dr. Paradela is board-certified in Internal Medicine. In addition, she is a member of the American College of Physicians. She enjoys family time with her husband and her two sons. Lastly, she enjoys poetry, photography, karaoke, shopping, and reality TV.

Tyler Rencher, D.O.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Dr. Tyler Rencher graduated from Touro University Nevada. With a degree in Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. He also completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Verde Valley Medical Center, in Cottonwood Arizona. Dr. Rencher is board-certified in Internal Medicine. In addition, he has an interest in using Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy as a complement to other pain relief methods. He grew up in the St. George area and returned back with his family. Dr. Rencher and his wife have two children. He also enjoys music, working on cars, rockhounding, and other outdoor activities.

Dr. Jonathan Baza is originally from Bountiful, Utah. His undergraduate degree was in Athletic Therapy, at Weber State University in Ogden Utah. He graduated from medical school in 2016 from Touro University Nevada. He completed a residency at Southeastern Health in Lumberton, North Carolina. Dr. Baza received his medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Baza is trained in Family Medicine. He uses Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments (OMT) to treat a variety of sports and chronic injuries. His medical interests include: sports medicine, dermatology, and women’s health. Dr. Baza is married and has three children. He and his family love playing games together and traveling. As well as outdoor activities, Pico ball, hiking and mountain biking.

Angela Jeung, DO

She is a board certified family medicine physician and enjoys seeing a diversity of patients. Dr. Jeung worked at the VA for two years and had a great experience treating patients with an array of complexity. Currently in her career, she is interested in approaching medical care in a holistic way. She believes that diseases not only have physical components, but mental and spiritual components as well. Dr. Jeung is married and has a son. She and her family love nature and the outdoors, and they are excited to be living in Utah.


Angela Jeung, DO

Mrs. Stacy Sumpter, DNP-C
Master’s Degree in Nursing, Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
Mrs. Stacy Sumpter, DNP-C began her nursing career in 1994, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. She graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Nursing from Marycrest International University in Davenport. Living in a rural community, she had the opportunity to work in multiple areas of Mercy Medical Center. These included obstetrics/gynecology, labor and delivery, intensive care unit, and surgical procedures. In addition to home care, hospice, and a surgical clinic. Seeking more autonomy, Stacy expanded her education earning a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Graceland University, in Lamoni. She began working as a board-certified nurse practitioner in Southern Utah. Stacy earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in April 2022. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau Zeta Kappa (changed) chapter, and Golden Key International Honour Society. Stacy is married and has three children. Together they enjoy boating, trail riding, hiking, and any outdoor activity that Southern Utah has to offer.

Adam Dye, FNP-C
Master’s Degree in Nursing, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Adam Dye, FNP-C began his career as a nurse in 2006. He graduated with a BSN from Idaho State University, in Pocatello. Right out of school he started working as an ICU nurse in Idaho Falls. This provided a great opportunity to learn to manage critically ill patients. In 2010, he decided to pursue a master’s degree in Nursing. During that same year, he continued doing school full-time and continued working full-time. Adam graduated in 2012 with a Master’s of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from Idaho State University. Adam was board certified shortly thereafter. Adam enjoys serving his community and getting to know people individually. Adam takes a personal interest in each of his patients’ care and well-being. Adam loves spending time with his wife and six kids. With 4 kids and a set of twin boys, they are sure to keep him on his toes. Lastly, he enjoys mountain bike riding, running, and staying active. He is always up for a fun adventure with family and friends.
